"Safari
International" has four rallies per year.
Our
rallies are designed for fun, friendship, learning more about
our safari's crafts classes, food, drinks and entertainment.
Typically
our rallies include four nights of camping, generally with
full hook-ups, four dinner meals, four continental breakfasts,
four happy hours, new coach displays, daily seminars from
suppliers who have contributed to your Safari, or would like
to contribute by selling you their product, and a factory
update from the top brass in SMC., Inc.
Additionally
the Safari technicians are working on our coaches making sure
all of us are happy Safari owners. The techs will repair at
least three items on your coach, which can be done in the
field, at no cost to you if still under warranty or no labor
cost and parts at reduced prices for your Safari regardless
of age.
Our
rally usually begins with an orientation meeting about 3:00
PM arrival day. Extra time is spent answering questions for
the first time rally attendees. Happy hour begins at 5:00
PM, followed by dinner. Day 2, 3 and 4 continental breakfast
then meet the suppliers and seminars in the AM and the seminars
in the PM. For the ladies there are craft classes, driving
classes, flea markets, line dancing and occasionally a fashion
show. Happy hours always begin at 5:00 PM followed by dinner.
Always day 4 is our Famous Steak Dinner, and a lot of door
prizes. Our rallies conclude after breakfast on day five.
If it is a Pre-FMCA Rally, we have a caravan to FMCA.
Although
Safari International has a full time rally director many volunteers
are required. Volunteers are needed for parking, registration,
bar tending, meal service and clean up. Don't be shy when
attending our rallies; we can use your help.
In
addition to our 4 rallies per year each geographic region
has at least one regional rally. These are patterned after
our rallies. If fifty or more coaches attend a tech truck
will be sent from the factory.
Please join us and
experience the good Safari life...
